Swallo takes its name from the swallow. A bird that moves with intention across continents, reads landscapes from above, and makes a home wherever it lands without losing its essential nature.
That philosophy is made literal in the GBO collection: each piece begins from the air the bird's-eye view of land, water, and coastline and descends into fibre, tracing the living landscapes, handwoven in jute by artisans in India and Nepal.
Founded in 2023, the studio has been recognised by the Dezeen Awards, shown in exhibitions in London, NewYork and Brussels.
Every piece is made to order, in limited editions, using natural fibres chosen for their durability and their sustainability.
