Yarlung

GBO II - Yarlung Tsangpo river, Tibet
The Yarlung Tsangpo runs higher than any major river on earth, held above 3,000 meters for most of its course. At that altitude it can't cut through rock, so it wraps every peak instead bending, never crossing head-on. As Tibet's Mother River, it reads as one unbroken system: nothing near it exists apart from that single line. Only once, late in its course, does it finally commit downward carving the Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon, the deepest on earth. Our pattern follows the same order: stay narrow and constrained, wrap rather than confront, then cut deep just once.
